This page describes how Field Viewers (“we,” “us”) treats information in connection with this website (fieldviewers.com and related pages we operate on Firebase Hosting). What this site is
We publish company and technical information, capability briefs, and links to demo applications hosted separately. Unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing, use of this site does not create a patient, clinical, or employment relationship.
Information collected automatically
Like most sites, hosting and delivery infrastructure may log technical data when you load pages—such as IP address, approximate region, browser type, requested URL, and time of request. We use this for security, reliability, and understanding aggregate traffic. Our public site is served through Firebase Hosting (Google), which processes such data under Google’s infrastructure and terms.
On-site assistant (chat)
The optional chat widget sends your messages to a Firebase Cloud Function that calls Google’s Gemini API to generate replies. Do not submit protected health information (PHI), classified material, or secrets you are not authorized to share. Messages are processed to produce a response; they are subject to rate limiting (including by IP) to prevent abuse. Conversation text may be retained temporarily in provider systems according to Google’s applicable terms and policies.
In your browser, recent chat turns may be stored in session storage so the panel can show the current thread until you clear it or close the session. That storage stays on your device unless you submit a message to the assistant, which transmits it as described above.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use this policy to run invasive cross-site advertising trackers. Essential cookies or storage may be used by our hosting or embedded services as needed for basic operation (for example, security or session-like behavior). Third-party sites you open from our links (e.g. demo apps, social or messaging links) have their own policies.
External links and demos
We link to third-party applications (for example product or research demos on other domains). Those services are not controlled by this policy. “Open in new tab” links (such as WhatsApp or LinkedIn) are governed by those providers’ terms and privacy notices.
Children
This site is directed at professionals and partners, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction).
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to processing.
